[TUTORIAL] How to stream on Korean music websites.

Music Streaming guide for Korean music websites:

All the websites have different methods for streaming so I’ve listed them here. Please follow this guide for streaming on music sites. If you do not stream the correct way it will not count on music sites.

Melon: Only the full song counts, not the 1 min preview. Only counts once a day for the daily chart and once every hour for the real time chart. You must listen to the whole song, no skipping parts of the song and the music player must be in streaming mode.

Mnet: Only counts if you stream by installing and using the mnet player or app. The web browser version doesn’t count. You must listen to the whole song, no skipping parts of the song. Only the full song counts, not the 1 min preview so you need to purchase the full song.

Bugs: Both the internet streaming and mobile app count. The song is counted if you listen to more than 1 min 30 secs of the song with no skipping of parts. Streaming only counts on the daily charts once a day per ID, for real time charts it counts once an hour.

Genie: Only songs count towards the streaming music charts, MVs count towards the separate MV chart. No matter how many times you listen to the song, it only counts once a day per user for the music charts.

Soribada: Only the full song counts, not the 1 min preview. You must listen to the whole song, no skipping parts of the song. The real time charts are updated once every 10 mins and you may stream them as much as you want as there is no streaming points limit (aka if you stream 10 times = 10 points).

Olleh music: Only the full song counts, not the 1 min preview. You must listen to the whole song, no skipping parts of the song. Streaming only counts on the daily charts once a day per ID, for real time charts it counts once an hour.

As you can see streaming is complicated and in some cases not accessible to international fans. The easiest way to support our boys if we can’t stream is just to add the hashtags #인피니트 #LastRomeo to our tweets. Remember only 1 of each hashtag should be on each tweet with no attachments. Any tweets with more than 1 of each hashtag is considered spam and doesn’t count to SNS points for music shows.
